Taking Pictures Hurl Up Some Tour Dates

Chicago's Taking Pictures-- forever destined to be described as "75% of the legendary Hurl"-- are hitting the road again in September. Taking Pictures is Matt Jencik (bass/vocals), Mat Daly (guitar/vocals), and Noah Leger (drums/vocals). Apparently Matt and Mat lost their battle to call Noah "Ma" (or "Mattt") to complete the series. Although they have only one album together as a trio (their debut record Friends Are Ghosts was released last year by My Pal God Records), collectively they have a ridiculous amount of music and recording experience-- not only in the aforementioned Hurl, but also in bands such as Don Caballero, The Karl Hendricks Trio, Thee Speaking Canaries, and Paul Newman. In addition, "Ma" Leger continues to moonlight as Milemarker's drummer.
